How the penalty works
No set fine is published for dog waste. § 93-8(C) sends violations to § 93-14, which applies the general penalty in § 1-12: a fine of not more than $1,000 and/or the issuance of a citation. Enforced by the Nashua Police Department.
The carry rule
§ 93-8(B) bars appearing with a dog on any sidewalk, street, park or other public area, or on private property the walker does not own or occupy, without the means of removal of any feces. Exemption: none stated in § 93-8.
How Nashua compares

In practice
