How the penalty works
§ 91.999(A): 'a person violating any provision of this chapter shall be fined for each offense in an amount not less than $50 nor more than $2,500; each daily violation shall constitute a separate offense.' No fixed ticket amount or separate repeat-offense schedule is published for § 91.018. The court may also offer the Animal Care and Control deferral program for minor violations (§ 91.999(I)).
The carry rule
